So, I think I’m going to need a little bit more practice with C-41 color developing. The negatives came out very thin, which was rather disappointing. This means that the scanner couldn’t pick up the picture easily and scans the film with much more grain than should be. Even the usable pictures showed grain increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a few ideas on what could casue that. First, the film I was using expired in 2017. Now the first roll of C41 I developed had no problems with desnity. I doubt that the age had something to do with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really think it was a combination of a metering problem and developing two rolls of film at once. Some pictures on the roll came out a lot better than others, but I would like to pin down what was happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was really glad that I was able to get at least some of the colors of spring captured in color.
