I wanted to try out something completely different: Fuji Acros 100 II film. I bought a couple of rolls to try. I have a feeling I will not be shooting a bunch of this stuff. It’s expensive and not readily available on the second hand market. I had to take a trip to Lusby, MD, so it gave me an excuse to snap some pics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really enjoy the look and feel of this film. The film is a little bit on the orthochromatic side, meaning that it isn’t as sensitive to red light. Reds will come out darker on this film, which gives it a unique feel similar to older films. On the flip side, the grain structure and sharpness are rival that of newer films, such as Kodak TMax. This film is very sharp and has excellent resolving power. Overall, it’s a very nice film (and I have another roll so I’ll be shooting that sometime in the future).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
