Time to wrap this up. I put in some (slightly) expired T-MAX 400 I bought from eBay and decided to give it a go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grain seems heavy at times, as you can see with the picture above. I’m not sure if my scanner was off or if it was something with the development process. I feel like the grain shouldn’t be that big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, we’re getting pretty decent detail in the mid-tones and highlights. Seems like the shadows are getting a bit crushed at times. Now that I think of it, that’s weird. If I was overdeveloping (since I’m using stand development) shouldn’t it blow out the highlights and not crush the shadows? Maybe it is a result of using too little developer. I don’t know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
