I have 49mm diameter yellow, red and blue filters to play with. They fit on my 28mm and 50mm lenses I got earlier. I also played around with a new film: Fomapan 100. I saw pictures someone took with it and decided to give it a go. It wasn’t very expensive, so if it turned out to be a turd, no loss.

Southbound MD235 in California, MD, from my office window

While I was eagerly waiting for my film parcel to arrive, I dug into info on Fomapan 100 a bit more, and I found that Foma, makes both Fomapan and Arista films. I was a bit disappointed, since I had a bunch of trouble with the past rolls. In addition, other reviews said that it is not very forgiving if your exposure isn’t spot on, especially 135 (35mm) film. Well since it is a 100 ISO film, I figured that would work in my favor. After shooting and developing, it didn’t turn out bad. The look wasn’t exactly what I was going for, but it wasn’t horrible at all.

Traveling north on MD 231 before the Benedict bridge

I took the best pictures of the set with the yellow filter. I believe all of the photos shown are with that filter on. The red filter blocked too much light, especially for the 100 ISO film.
