I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the Charles County Fair back in the end of September. With my two cameras, I loaded up one with color and the other with black and white.

I do think I’m improving on the color balance of the pictures. The color development process can by tricky. If you have the temperature too low, you can either under-develop the film. If it’s too high, you can get a bad color skew. I’ve also noticed that the center of the roll tends to be better than the ends.

Development Details

  • Film: FujiColor 200
  • Camera ISO setting: 200
  • Developer: CineStill C41 Developer at 102ºF
  • Development Time: 3.5 Minutes
  • Development Agitation: Kodak Style (5x inversions every 30 seconds)
