One of the issues I had with the last roll of Kentmere 400 was a faint scratch along the whole role of the film. (I edited the photos afterwards, so it’s not visible.) I’m not sure if that was a problem with the emulsion or if it was a problem with the camera or my processing. I shot another roll, to see if there was any other issues. This one came out clean.

I know it’s not the scanner, because I can see the scratch with my eyes on the negative. I’m leaning towards something I did in the processing. I switched to a non-hardening fixer, so the emulsion may be a bit more susceptible to scratches.

Anyway, this one went off without a hitch. I’ve got a few more rolls, so I’ll keep an eye on it. These came out really good overall. This Kentmere has a pretty good exposure latitude as well. So here’s a few from the second roll:
