I’ve shot a bunch of Ilford HP5+ and started to shoot some FP4+. A lot of photo enthusiasts really like the Ilford stuff. However, I’m not as enamored with it as other. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still a very good film, but I’m a little let down by it. I think it has a very grainy look even with it being a mainstream film.

For an ISO 125 film, I though the FP4+ would have a bit less grain than what I got. I think I’m missing something. Did I meter correctly? Did I mess up something with developing? Did I scan it with bad settings? I think I should be getting better results than these. I’ll have to try a few different adjustments as I go along
