I switched things up with some Kodak TMax 400 and continued on my drive. In the past, I had experimented with adding sodium acorbate, which is essentially a vitamin C supplement, to the Rodinal to cut down on the grain. This batch did not include the additive. I though the sodium ascorbate was creating spots on the negative (but it actually wasn’t).

Another “bouns” frame, caught while the camera is stuck on 1/1000th of a second while the counter advances to 1. (The camera locks the shutter speed so you don’t have to wait for the shutter when loading film.)

Some of the pictures have enough contrast for clouds. Turning the gamma down reveals the clouds, but also increases graininess.

we have another example of that here. The grain seems to be much more prominent, but the clouds give the picture more depth and life-like feel.

I may have gone overboard with this one. It’s pretty dark.

Overall, this seems to be a really nice roll, albeit a little bit grainy.
