Continuing on the same roll of film, I decided to take some indoor pictures. These are of my grandparent’s dog, Sam. Since this is a 400 speed film, I thought it would be good to try some indoor pictures. I was very happy with the results.

I like how the emulsion is sharp enough to pick up the texture of Sam’s fur while keep the tonality looking good.

“Will you play with me?”

“Please???”

I included this last picture to show what a difference the flash makes. In all of these pictures I was using my hands to direct Sam to look at me. This last one, I shot the picture too soon before removing my hand, casting a shadow on the background. I had my aperture up pretty wide already, so I don’t think I could have shot without the flash. Half of the tube florescent lights are out in the garage. If that wasn’t the case, maybe I could have gotten away with no flash. I’m curious to see if I can push the T-Max 400 to do well in just artificial light without the flash.
