The weather was excellent for a second weekend in a row. I had loaded a roll of Fomapan 200 in the camera (from which all the pictures in this post are from), and stuffed two rolls of the T-Max 100 in my bag.

I used my yellow/amber color filter again to filter out some of the blue light. I’ve been pretty satisfied so far with it. The results are subtle, but noticeable.

One thing I did notice with this roll is that there’s a bit more gain on this one compared to the last. It isn’t huge downside as some prefer that look. The big upside this time was the fact that brightness and contrast were often spot on. I would say about at least half of them required no brightness adjustments at all. Compared that to the two rolls I shot after this one, most of them required a bunch of tweaks into get them to where I wanted.

I like this picture, except I think I could have framed it better.

If you tend to drive this stretch, you forget how beautiful it is to to look at everything over the hill.

Overall, it’s a really nice set. It isn’t as smooth as I wanted to get these, but it’s still pretty satisfying going through them.
